Our approach challenges the conventional focus of
project management
methods by addressing all layers of the
organization through the appropriate application of best
international practices. Different practices serve different
levels
of the organization. Some, like ISO quality standards, state
specific
tasks or processes that can be executed in order to achieve
high-level policy compliance. At a lower level, the tools and
techniques needed to achieve
quality output from processes are best
identified by organizations such
as the International Project
Management Association (IPMA) and the
Project Management Institute (PMI).
We also use international practices because they
have common goals,
are developed from international consensus, and
they are proven to work.
And, perhaps more importantly, they exist.
Why spend valuable resources developing additional practices when a
wide body of knowledge is available
to be integrated directly into
your environment?
This approach is especially useful, even
necessary, if your global organization
is facing any of these challenging
situations:
