Course Description

Quality is achieved through planning, directing, and implementing the actions that are consistent with the concept of doing the right thing right the first time. Setting standards for the work, understanding the customer’s requirements, and imple­menting the requirements in documentation and actions are needed to set the stage for Quality. Then, Quality is infused into the project through monitoring, eval­uating, and assessing the processes while conducting continuous improvement. The course discusses these and other topics related to project quality, such as—

• Objectives of Quality and principles of leadership

• Theories of Deming, Crosby, and others on which the modern approach to quality is based

• Importance of the customer in achieving Quality

• Quality Control and Audits
